The rails are tight and responsive, the felt is fast, and the slate is dead flat. If you play seriously, you'll appreciate all of this. If you're casual, you'll still be impressed by how good it looks.

Table is good — carrier damaged the crate

The pool table itself is well made. I can see the quality in the slate and the wood. Unfortunately the freight carrier delivered the crate with visible forklift damage on one side. The inner packaging protected the table but one of the felt panels had a small scuff that Blackwell replaced. They handled the issue professionally but the carrier experience was stressful for a purchase at this price point. Table plays great now.

Beautiful table, serious playing surface

The photographs do not do this table justice. The walnut veneer has depth and character that only shows in person. And the playing surface is exceptional — consistent speed across the entire felt, zero dead spots.

Outstanding build quality

The joinery on this table is impressive. The walnut rails are smooth and the mitered corners are tight. Pockets are leather and well-formed. The cue set that came with it is better than I expected. Highly recommend.

Good table but delivery was a nightmare

The Meridian itself is a solid product — the slate is flat and the build quality is good. However, the freight carrier lost my delivery for 3 weeks with no updates. I had to chase both Blackwell and the carrier repeatedly. The table eventually arrived with a dent in the outer crate, though thankfully the table inside was okay. Blackwell support was helpful once I got through, but the carrier let everyone down. The table plays well now that it's set up.

The Meridian is an excellent table — the slate is flat, the felt is quality, and it looks stunning in my space. The only reason for 4 stars is that the assembly instructions could be clearer on the leveling step. Took a couple of tries to get it perfect. Once level, it plays beautifully.
