Phenomenal table for the price

You genuinely cannot find this quality elsewhere at this price. A-grade slate, solid wood, leather pockets, quality felt. The Crest plays at a level that should cost significantly more. Extraordinary value.

Slate leveling made easy

Was nervous about leveling a 3-piece slate table myself. The Crest's built-in hex adjustment system is genuinely straightforward. Got it perfectly level in 45 minutes following the guide. No professional needed, no stress.

Rock solid construction

This table does not move. The weight of the slate and the solid wood base keep everything perfectly stable. No flex, no wobble. The cushions are lively and the felt is fast. Everything a quality slate table should be.

Smooth delivery, perfect setup

The whole process was seamless. Communication was clear, delivery was on schedule, driver called ahead. Crate was extremely well-built. Table went together in an afternoon. Has played perfectly since day one.

Better than the photos

The photographs are good but the Crest in person is on another level. The oak grain has real depth and the sculpted Y-base looks incredible from every angle. Playing surface is tournament quality. Highly recommend.

The most beautiful table I've ever owned

The Crest's Y-shaped oak legs are something else. I've had people come over just to see the table — not even to play. The green felt against the natural oak is a stunning combination. Ball roll is perfectly flat, cushions are lively. This is what a real pool table looks like.

Table is great — carrier was the problem

The Crest itself is a well-made table — the oak base is beautiful and the slate plays true. My issue was with the freight carrier, who missed two delivery windows without notice and left the crate outside in light rain without calling. The table was fine inside thanks to solid packaging, but the experience was stressful. Blackwell support stepped in and helped resolve things with the carrier. The table is now set up and plays perfectly.

Good product, frustrating freight experience

The Crest is solid — quality wood, flat slate, nice felt. The freight carrier handling was the weak point: poor communication on delivery scheduling and one missed appointment. The outer crate had some forklift scuffs but the table inside was perfectly protected. Blackwell was responsive when I flagged the issue. Table is set up now and it's excellent. The carrier experience is what costs the stars.

Solid, beautiful, plays true

The Crest is everything advertised — solid hardwood construction, A-grade slate, quality felt. The sculpted base is what sets it apart visually. This table will last decades. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Great table — assembly instructions could be clearer

The Crest is an excellent product — beautiful oak base, flat slate, quality felt. The assembly guide could be more detailed on the slate leveling step. Took a bit of trial and error to get perfectly level. Once dialed in, it plays flawlessly. Four stars only for that minor friction.

Very happy — slight variation in wood tone

The Crest is a beautiful, well-built table. My only note is a very slight variation in oak tone between the base and the rail — noticeable only up close. Adds character honestly but I mention it for transparency. Playing surface is exceptional.

My favorite purchase this year

The Crest gets played every single night. The 8ft size is perfect for our space. Green felt was the right choice — classic look, shows chalk less than darker options. The slate leveling system was easy to set up myself.

Built for serious players and serious rooms

The Crest doesn't mess around. Solid slate, quality felt, real wood construction. The design is bold and unique. Setup was straightforward with two people and the leveling system worked exactly as described. Very happy.

Oak and green felt is a perfect combo

Something about the natural oak with green felt feels classic and right. The Crest has that perfect balance of traditional billiards feel with modern sculptural design. My basement has never looked better.

Natural oak and green felt — timeless

Some design choices age well and some don't. Natural oak with green felt is timeless. The Crest will look just as good in 20 years as it does today. And the playing surface is outstanding.

Repeat customer

So satisfied with my first Blackwell table that I ordered the Crest for my vacation home. Same excellent experience — quality packaging, accurate timeline, perfect condition on arrival. Another great table.

Installed two for our members club

Ordered two Crests for our private members club. Both arrived in perfect condition and our team had them set up in a day. Members immediately started using them. The green felt and oak aesthetic fits our space perfectly. Blackwell was easy to work with on the dual order.

Perfect housewarming investment

New house, new table. The Crest was the right call. The natural oak finish looks warm and inviting in our family room. Kids and adults both play it constantly. Build quality is exceptional.

Mid-century modern meets billiards

My whole house is mid-century modern and finding a pool table that fit was a challenge until I found the Crest. The oak Y-legs and natural wood finish integrate perfectly with my decor. Guests always ask where I got it.

Best gift I've ever received

My company gifted me the Crest for my retirement. I've always loved pool and having a table this quality at home is a dream. The natural oak finish looks incredible. Plays as well as any table I've used.

Plays better than my club's tables

Member of a golf and country club with high-end pool tables. The Crest plays at that level. The slate is thicker and flatter than one of the club tables I regularly use. Genuinely impressed with the quality.

Company lounge upgrade — massive hit

Installed the Crest in our office lounge as part of a redesign. The natural oak finish and green felt fit our aesthetic perfectly. It's become the most-used space in the building. Build quality is excellent and it handles daily heavy use without any issues.

Our hotel lounge upgrade was a success

Installed the Crest in our hotel's billiard lounge. Guests love it and it's become a highlight of the property. The natural oak look is refined enough for an upscale setting. Build quality has held up to constant use.

My cabin game room is complete

Installed the Crest in my mountain cabin game room. The natural oak finish complements the wood interior perfectly. It gets played every weekend and shows zero wear. Exceptional build quality for the price.

The design alone is worth the price

I've seen a lot of pool tables. The Crest's organic Y-leg design is genuinely unique. It looks like a piece of sculpture when not in use. And it plays brilliantly — the slate is flat and the cushions have great rebound.

Organic design, tournament-grade play

I wanted a table that looked like furniture but played like a pro table. The Crest delivers both. The sculpted oak base is genuinely artistic and the 3-piece slate plays as true as any table I've been on competitively. Exceptional purchase.

Worth every dollar

I spent months researching tables. The Crest stands out because of the unique leg design — nothing else looks like it at this price point. The oak is rich and the grain is beautiful. Playing surface is dead flat. Zero regrets.

Great investment for a serious player

I play pool 4-5 times a week so the quality of the slate matters. The Crest delivers — dead flat surface, consistent cushion rebound, quality felt. The design is a bonus. This is a serious table.

Upgraded from a bar table — incredible difference

Had a cheap coin-op style table for years. The Crest is a completely different experience. The slate is flat, the cushions are responsive, the felt is smooth. This is what pool is supposed to feel like. And it looks stunning.

Exceptional quality control

Every piece was individually wrapped and protected. Assembly was smooth and the table was perfect out of the crate. The factory QC process is clearly thorough. Playing surface is outstanding.

Exactly what I wanted

Clear communication throughout, accurate timeline, well-packaged delivery. The Crest arrived in perfect condition. The Y-legs look even better in person. Felt is properly tensioned and the slate is perfectly flat. Would absolutely recommend.

My man cave centerpiece

Built out my basement specifically for a pool table room. The Crest was the obvious choice — nothing else had the right combination of looks and playing quality. The Y-legs make it look like art when not in use.

    When am I charged?

You are charged in full at the time of ordering. This triggers the start of your 30-day production window. If you choose Shop Pay Installments, your first payment is due at checkout and subsequent payments follow your selected schedule.

How do I pay? Is it secure?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments with SSL encryption. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

    Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer monthly financing through Shop Pay Installments, powered by Affirm. You can split your purchase into monthly payments directly at checkout. Rates and terms are shown at the time of purchase based on your profile.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every Blackwell table is custom-built to order, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. If your table arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will replace the affected parts or the full table at no cost. We strongly encourage you to review all dimensions, specifications, and room requirements before ordering.

Can I level the slate myself?

Yes. Each Blackwell table features a built-in 3-piece slate leveling system with accessible hex adjustment screws at each joint. You can level the table yourself using the included hex key. We recommend checking the level after delivery and adjusting as needed.

Is assembly difficult? Do I need tools?

Assembly is straightforward and designed for home installation. All necessary hardware is included. You will need 2 people for lifting and positioning the slate pieces. The built-in slate leveling system allows you to fine-tune each piece independently for a perfectly flat surface.

    How long does assembly take?

Most customers complete assembly in 2–4 hours with 2 people. The table ships fully crated with all hardware and an assembly guide included. No special tools are required beyond what's provided in the box.

What room size do I need?

As a general rule, add at least 5 feet (60 inches) to each side of the table to allow comfortable cueing. For an 8 ft table (103 × 59 in), we recommend a minimum room size of approximately 19 × 14 ft. For a 9 ft table, plan for at least 20 × 15 ft.

What size table should I choose?

We offer 7 ft, 8 ft, and 9 ft tables. The 8 ft is the most popular choice for home use — it matches the standard size used in American pool halls and tournaments. The 7 ft is ideal for smaller rooms, while the 9 ft is the full regulation tournament size preferred by serious players. See the Specifications section on each product page for exact dimensions.

    Can I customize my table?

Yes. Felt color and wood veneer finish can be customized on request. Contact us before placing your order to discuss your preferences. Custom orders follow the same 30-day production timeline.

    What felt colors are available?

Each table comes standard in one of 5 colors: Black, Dark Gray, Royal Blue, Camel, or Green. We also offer 11 additional colors on request including Burgundy, Purple, Yellow, Orange, and more. Select your color at checkout or contact us to discuss custom options.

What wood is the frame made of?

The Blackwell Meridian features North American oak rails and frame with solid hardwood structure, finished in a high-end PE metallic paint.

Is this a slate or MDF table?

All Blackwell tables feature a genuine 3-piece A-grade Jiujiang slate bed — the same type of slate used in professional tournament halls — with one exception: the Blackwell Essential 8ft model, which uses a high-density MDF bed.

Slate is heavier, more durable, and provides a perfectly flat playing surface that won't warp over time, making it the preferred choice for serious players. The Essential 8ft is designed as a more budget-friendly option while still offering excellent playability for home use.

Do you deliver everywhere in the US?

Yes, we deliver to all 48 contiguous US states. For Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact us before ordering for a custom shipping quote.

How many people do I need to help unload?

Please have 2 adults available on delivery day to help guide the crate off the truck. The driver will assist with the unloading process. The crate is heavy — a pool table with a slate bed weighs between 400 and 550 lbs depending on the size.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Yes. Your table will be delivered by freight truck. You'll receive a call 48–72 hours before delivery to schedule a time window that works for you. Please ensure someone is available at the address on delivery day.

What if the table arrives damaged?

We photograph and video every table at the factory before shipment, and all tables are professionally crated for ocean freight. In the rare event of transit damage, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange replacement parts or a full replacement at no cost to you.
